Two Women Arrested for Egg Attack on Aleema Khan in Rawalpindi 🥚

Police in Rawalpindi said Friday that two women were arrested after hurling an egg at PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khanum, during a media talk outside Adiala Jail. The incident, captured on camera and shared widely on TV and social media, showed Aleema visibly shocked as the egg struck. Authorities said the women, identified as PTI supporters, had joined protesters from the All Government Employees Grand Alliance and the All Pakistan Clerks Association. They attempted to flee in a car but were confronted by PTI supporters, who pelted the vehicle with stones, shattering its windscreen. PTI condemned the episode as a “shameful attack,” alleging police facilitation. Aleema has been actively campaigning for Imran Khan’s release in the Toshakhana and other corruption cases.
