Turkey's Interior minister has ordered a further 470 police officers to be transferred or sacked from their jobs in a government-led purge of the country's security services and judiciary.

The move stems from a corruption scandal which erupted in December with the arrest of businessmen close to the prime minister.
The sons of three cabinet ministers were also among more than 50 people detained.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has portrayed the graft probe as an attempted "judicial coup". He accuses supporters of a US based influential cleric whose sympathisers hold sway in many parts of the state.
