Troubleshooting iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) Writing Glitch with Apple Pencil ✍️

I am using iPad Pro 12.9 2020 version with Apple Pencil 2nd generation. App used is Goodnotes but this glitch is observed in Apple notes app too.

What is the glitch?
Notice the ghost line appearing while I begin writing. After I begin writing the word keeps getting broken and turns squiggly.

I have contacted Apple Support. They recommended to take the iPad to local repair centre. Apple's service infrastructure in my country is underdeveloped. Nearest service centre is 120KMs away.

Apple should bear the cost of doling out defective and malfunctioning product. But it is me who will have to bear the cost of gas for the journey and even then be on the mercy of service centre to acknowledge the problem and give a hassle free replacement.
