A panel of both faculty from MIT and elsewhere, along with professionals in the field, discuss the teaching of computing in science and engineering. Panel includes: Cynthia Barnhart, MIT Chancellor and Ford Foundation Professor of Engineering; Stephen Boyd, Chair, Department of Electrical Engineering and Samsung Professor in the School of Engineering at Stanford University; Tony DeRose, Educational Consultant and Former Senior Scientist at Pixar Animation Studios; Alan Edelman, Professor of Applied Mathematics at MIT; and Wendi Heinzelman, Dean, Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Rochester.
