New Strategy, 4X, RTS, turn-based, tactics, AND city builder games are on the menu today as we explore some new Gamescom 2025 games, and some other recent strategy game developments with this list of my hotly anticipated, upcoming strategy games for 2025 & 2026! I thought the rest of this year was going to be a little slow, but it turns out there are loads of new upcoming strategy and simulation games! Gamescom 2025 delivered about half of the announcements and new games in this video. From city builders like Anno 117: Pax Romana, to the heights of Europa Universalis 5's grand strategy, to indie gems, and every new strategy game announcement that has captured my interest in between - here are some new strategy games, and some new demos to try!
