Tokyo Disney Day 1: Unlimited Rides & Parade 🎢

Today we're reliving day 1 of my most recent trip to Tokyo Disneyland. This is going to be the first day of my 2 day unlimited rides vacation package and I'm just going to be going over everything I did that day.

A 2 day Vacation Package includes one day at Disneyland and one day at DisneySea with a hotel night stay in between. To maximize my time in the parks, I book an additional day at a Tokyo Disney Resort hotel the night before my package starts and I also pick up my package the day before it starts. This allows me to have my tickets in hand for the start of my package and use the Happy Entry 15 minute early entry to Tokyo Disneyland.

I flew into Tokyo Narita Airport and I arranged for a car to pick me up this time. In the past, I usually take the bus which is super easy and convenient, but there's been times it's been a struggle. One time the tickets were sold out and I had to wait for a later bus. Another time i bought the tickets in advance and missed the bus due to the time it took to get off the plane and through customs and everything. Ive also taken a bus to the train station and taken the train to Disney. But this time, we arranged for a car. That was super easy and got us to our hotel super quickly. Once we arrived, we checked into the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and had a Grand Park View room.

Our Vacation Package included a night at Hotel MiraCosta, so we had to take the monorail over to that hotel to pick up our package. There's a special Duffy 20th anniversary monorail right now. It plays the Colorful Friendship song and it has bright colors and bubbles all around. There's even furry seats. Each bench of seats is a different color fur for one of the Duffy friends. I had to sit on Gelatoni. The monorail has collectible ticket designs and each kiosk has a different design. We got a Duffy 2oth anniversary design and a Donald Duck design. These make great souvenirs and you can even buy books to store you collection.

We rode the monorail to Hotel MiraCosta and picked up our package of papers and then went back to the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel to watch the castle projection show from our window.

We got in line at 8:15 AM for 8:45 AM Happy Entry. We have an unlimited rides vacation package today. The unlimited rides package doesn't include every ride, but it does include all of the popular ones with high wait times.

Happy Entry is only 15 minutes and rides aren't open yet, it's basically your time to get in line for a ride before the regular crowds can get in.

I found a Minnie Mouse hand soap dispenser in the park on my way to Fantasyland. A few hand washing stations have Minnie soap instead of Mickey.

Our first ride of the day with the Vacation Package was Beauty and the Beast. we walked right on that. Then we went over to the Happy Ride with Baymax. Space Mountain construction is making progress.

We went into Tomorrowland Terrace for another free drink. This time we got strawberry and butterfly pea Baymax drinks


After that, we went to Monsters Inc Ride and go Seek. We stopped into the store at the exit to pick up our vacation package gift. There were 4 different options, but the cast member told us at disneysea there are 5 options, the 4 we could choose here and a duffy bear bag. we got one gift here and saved the other gift ticket for over at disneysea.

i went to get a free soy milk and caramel drink from the refreshment corner and then got a spot for the 1:40 PM parade. Which ended up being cancelled due to heat. Oh well.

My package includes free unlimited popcorn. You can choose unlimited popcorn, churros, or cold treats. We went with popcorn since there are so many delicious flavors of popcorn.
My favorite drink in the park is berry cheers from Gaston's Tavern. We rode tons of rides and had tons of drinks.

At around 6 PM, I ended up leaving Tokyo Disneyland. we rode the monorail over to Hotel MiraCosta and checked in.

Our room was a Harbor View Park View Room and we also had access to the Del Amicco Lounge, which is their concierge. Then we watched Believe Sea of Dreams from our room.
