About this video

Temporomandibular joint disorder refers to the condition where the articular disk between the condyle of the mandible and the glenoid fossa of the maxilla does not remain in place during the movement of the jaw. Instead it is pushed in front of the condyle. With reduction means that at some point during the movement the articular disk pops back into place.
