The situation across Punjab remains tense following a violent police operation against Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in Muridke.

The early morning crackdown on October 13 triggered widespread protests and road blockades in Lahore and different cities of Punjab. TLP claims over 280 supporters have been killed, while Punjab Police reported the martyrdom of SHO Shehzad Nawaz during clashes.
