SaltkrÄkan (Salt-Crow) island. The residents of SaltkrÄkan experience new issues when Malin and Peter have their first girl, SkrÄllan. SkrÄllan is a fantasy name invented by Astrid Lindgren, who is said to have based it on the Swedish word skrÄla which means "bawl, bellow, roar".
Skrollan has occasionally been used as a given name in Germany since the 1970s.
