Hadza Tribe in Tanzania: 50,000 Years of Tradition

This tribe blew our minds!!! I’ve never met people who live with NOTHING, but feel like they have EVERYTHING !!

The Hadza tribe in Tanzania are one of the last remaining hunter gatherer tribes in the world who still live the way they did 10,000 years ago. They hunt when they’re hungry, gather whatever they can find, and share everything. They believe in OWNING nothing, and live in houses with literally nothing inside. The government has allotted them land and they use that land to hunt. And anything within that land is fair game.

They’ve had plenty of chances to change, to adopt modern ways. But they said no, by choice!! And it is SO DIFFICULT to say NO when comfort is offered to you!! Missionaries, westerners, governments… all tried but they happily took whatever they were offered, and said f**k off to CHANGE.

We did discuss sometimes that either they are REALLY smart or REALLY dumb but either way,
there’s something so powerful about people who are so clear about who they are. So confident in themselves. No interest in proving anything to the world. Just living on their own terms, fully and fiercely. And for that they have my RESPECT!
