Full game longplay of Thief II: The Metal Age, direct sequel to Thief Gold, released in March 2000, shortly before the closure of dev Looking Glass Studios (rip).

NOTE: This is a NOOB longplay, not super duper expert, It's actually the first time I finished the game, and looking at what I've done in the last mission at the Soulforge, it should be obvious, I wasted 2 hours on it, and I still managed to fuck it up and had to skip it. Every cutscene is intact though. There's definitely a few of those "fails" in this longplay, like in Trail of Blood I couldn't find the second red jewel to progress, I even looked up a walkthrough and still didnt find it xD:))

All the briefings/cutscenes are enhanced through AI, upscaled, cleaned up, and interpolated to 60 fps. Played in 1920x1080, with Tfix AA turned on, probably a strong FXAA+MSAA mix. No altered textures, just Tfix.

Overall, I am actually VERY disappointed in Thief 2. Half the missions are to me, a noob player to classic Thief games, garbage, with stupid design choices. Life of the Party is definitely the best, but just too huge and complex for a simple casual longplay. Lost City made a comeback, unfuckingfortunately. Two missions quest items were impossible to find, at the final mission the item bugged and fell through the texture before I saved, and I had no wish to replay another hour xD Overall, Thief Gold seems to me a much better game, from the newbish fan perspective, even if City landscapes and missions are my thing, TG is the one I consider much better. I realized that about halfway the longplay, so my frustration is clearly visible on the record. I am very disappointed in both the game, and my longplay. But, at least Thief 2 is a great base for hundreds of fan missions, which I adore. :))
