They WON a trip to visit Polo Reef's 17,000 gallon reef aquarium!

Some play cards, some play the lottery, and some play the horses. With all of those, there is some risk and some reward. But our lucky winner took no risk but got a great reward as he was the lucky winner of our take a tour of Andrew's tank. Our winner is unique in several ways: First, he designed nuclear submarines for a living, and second, he enjoyed looking at the engineering behind the tank, especially the filtration, as much as he enjoyed viewing the display. Blair and his son Tim enjoyed picking Andrew's brain and asked a lot of the questions that many of us would like to know. Of particular interest was how Andrew is trying to quarantine and get purple queen anthias to eat and go through quarantine to try to get them to survive. And he also discusses how he is trying to treat the deadly fish disease Uronema, in his quarantine system before allowing any new fish to enter any of his tanks.
