Workers first slide black rubber insulation over the steel pipes, then fit petal-shaped aluminum covers around the T-joints, and finally secure everything with a bright aluminum jacket.

This multi-layered structure prevents heat loss, shields the pipe from moisture, impact, and UV rays, improves energy efficiency, and helps avoid condensation and deterioration.

The petal-shaped covers are made by pre-pressing flat aluminum sheets to conform smoothly to curves—a traditional sheet metal technique that enhances corrosion resistance without the need for cuts.
