Woman Hidden in Closet: A True Crime Tale 🕵️‍♀️

In 2009, a man in Fukuoka, Japan started noticing something weird in his house.

He lived alone… but somehow, food kept disappearing. Items moved around. Toilet seats were warm. Things weren’t exactly scary — just subtly off.

At first, he thought he was losing his mind. Then he installed a security camera in his apartment, just to check.

What he saw? Chilled him to the bone.

The footage showed a woman sliding open a small cabinet door, crawling out while he was at work, eating his food, using his bathroom… and crawling back in before he returned.

Police were called immediately.

When they raided his apartment, they opened a tiny top cupboard above a closet — and inside, they found a 58-year-old woman curled up with a water bottle, mattress, and snacks.

She had been living in that space for nearly a year, completely undetected.

The woman was homeless and said she found the door unlocked one day… and just never left. She only came out when the man was gone.
