MAZ-537 & MAN HX81: Classic & Modern Heavy Trucks 🚚

The #MAZ-537 is a 12-cylinder diesel engine-powered military truck #artillerytractor originally designed to haul loads up to 50 tons, with later versions providing a maximum load of 65 tons. It was manufactured by the #MinskAutomobilePlant (from 1959 to 1965), and the #KurganWheelTractorPlant from 1963 until production ended in 1990 with the arrival of the #MANHX81 tank transporter.

The MAN HX81 was a joint development by MAN and the #Düsseldorf, #Germany-based #RheinmetallGroup. It evolved from the #MANHX77 and the #SX45 heavy high mobility trucks. It is a purpose designed military vehicle designed for heavy duty, tough environmental conditions. The MAN HX81 is used by the #GermanArmy, where it is known as #SLT-2Mammut.
