The Thunder, Perfect Mind: Lectures, Musical, and Theatrical Performances

On April 9, 2024, the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard Divinity School hosted a special evening celebrating the ancient poem, "The Thunder, Perfect Mind," which survives only in a single fourth-century Coptic manuscript, discovered in 1945 as part of the Nag Hammadi library. 

The event featured a performative reading of the poem by Shadi Ghaheri; performances of original musical compositions by Julian Bennett Holmes and Jane Sheldon, and lectures by Dr. Karen King and Dr. Tilde Bak Halvgaard.
