Tatton Park Classic Car Show & Spectacular 🚗

I've been to the Tatton Park Classic Car Show, or the Classic & Performance Car Spectacular as it was renamed some years ago, on and off since the late 1980s, although 13 years had passed since my last visit.
This mighty old car event is held in the wonderful grounds of the Tatton Park country estate in Cheshire, and it was great to pay it a return visit.
I've so many memories of this place. In 2009 for example my Austin A40 Devon decided to shed its timing chain just as I was leaving the car park. In the early 1990s, while camping over the show weekend, I well remember nine of us piling into my old Ford E83W pickup truck and bouncing cross-country in a convoy of classic cars to catch the Last Night of The Proms performance that was taking part on the other side of the estate, alongside the lake. So yes, plenty of memories of the Tatton Park Classic Car Show.
The show is now marketed as for both classic and more recent sportscars so I was curious to find out whether there'd be much proper classic car content to look at. I needn't have worried. There were classic cars of all shapes and sizes, many of which I'd not seen before - or at least hadn't seen for many a year - so it was well well worth the drive over.
In this video I'll try and feature as many of the exhibiting classic cars as I can. It's a two-day show and I went along on day one. Did you exhibit? Is your car in the video? If so please say hello in the comments.
Highlights in 2023 included a wonderful pre-war Standard Flying 20 V8, a 1920s Talbot tourer, a Ford Prefect E93A tourer, loads of BMC Farinas of the late 1950s/early 1960s, Hillman Super Minx convertible and estate, various Ford Zephyr/Zodiac Mk3s, a rare Fordson E04C van, Borgward Isabella TS, a gaggle of Gilberns, two Renault 17s, a Bond Equipe, and a Lea Francis 14hp Sports, to name just a few.
This is the first video I've done of the classic car show at Tatton Park so I hope you all like it. In all, over 315 clips went into making this video. Likes, comments and subs welcomed as ever.
