About this video
Here I am installing NoSeeUm screen cloth in a sliding screen door. NoSeeum cloth has much much tinier holes than regular screen cloth and keeps out those gnats and tuny bugs as well as dust and dirt.
The procedure for rolling it in is not any different than regular screen cloth. You have to keep everything flat and squre to the frame and use the right diameter screen spline.
Im using a table here but there is no reason you cant do just as good a job working on the ground with the screen door laying flat on your wooden deck or a piece of cardboard or a blanket.
Im using a minimum of four plastic clamps to keep the cloth flat and square. Being plastic the clamps dont scratch the frame which I dont want to do on this brand new sliding screen door.
In the video I have to do one side and roll the spline across the top. Then because this door is wider than my table I have to take the door off and flip it around to do the other two sides. I dont show that because its exactly the same procedure as the first two sides shown in the video.
I posted a link to the Noseeum cloth I used in this video below. Be sure to check to get the right width and length foryour door.
