Die Romantics sind eine Gruppe von sieben engen Freunden, die sich bereits aus Schulzeiten kennen und nun auf einer Hochzeit ihr Wiedersehen feiern. Zwei der Romantics Lila und Tom haben nämlich vor, sich in einem schicken Häuschen am See das Ja-Wort zu geben. Es wäre dem jungen Glück durchaus auch von Herzen zu gönnen, wenn nicht Lilas Trauzeugin Laura ebenfalls mal lange mit Tom zusammengewesen wäre. Beste Freundin hin oder her, so kurz vor der Hochzeit sind Interessenskonflikt da natürlich vorprogrammiert und auch der Bräutigam scheint die Verflossene noch nicht völlig abgeschrieben zu haben.
