The 1920s was a decade of great change, new freedoms, economic and technological boom, cultural and artistic dynamism. An era of hot jazz, short skirts and clandestine booze. A glittering decade suspended precariously between two world wars. In America we called it the jazz age, the Brits proclaimed it the “golden age” and the French declared them “Années folles”, the crazy years”. As we begin a new decade, the 2020s lets look back at the 20’s that came in the last century. That glamorous time known as the roaring 20’s!
