About this video
Finally, a proper video for this. I loved creating content for this game all those years ago (all the way back in 2015) that I did. MSP was one of my introductions to editing (besides the amount of youtube tutorials I would watch to learn how to). I will treasure the fact that it was part of helping me figure out what I wanted to do in life for myself.
Those days of editing were amazing. Even now, I have tons of time now that things in my life are different from when I was younger. However, I would rather put my time into better things beyond MSP, and I promise you I will not forget what I have learned from the game & its community. From all the goods & the bads. From the friendships I’ve gained and lost. I take every experience as a lesson for myself.
If I could tell my past self that made videos for this game a couple things, it would be:
- Stop saying “yes” to everybody that asks you constantly to edit something for them, even the ones that would pull the “we’ve been besties for years” card.
- Stop surrounding yourself with people that are telling you that “views”, “likes”, and all these other misc stuff within the community & yt community matter;
(because it really doesn’t, people need to stop caring about the views and likes and start getting a real passion for something if they actually enjoy it).
- If you want to work on something and create it, do it yourself. Especially if you know that you can only rely on yourself to get it done.
- Don’t let others tell you what you should/shouldn’t do with your channel. It’s YOUR channel and YOUR life. Not theirs. They aren’t the owner of your life or channel.
To anyone reading this, YOU ARE FREE TO DO WHAT YOU WANT. I am not judging you if you are making content for this game or anything related. The shame is on the MSP devs themselves for not caring. It’s truly a shame, but the memories. I think about them time & time.
I’ve reflected on my past decisions that have helped me grow.
Thank you to Cartoon Network for creating this wonderful game, and I am so sorry that the company that owns it now has destroyed one of the amazing things you've created.
