In Afghanistan in 2025, under the rule of the Taliban, women rarely walk the streets, they have banned them from most areas of public life, but behind the high walls and closed doors of peoples homes, families are still gathering - living, laughing and eating together. Despite the heavy restrictions and oppressive atmosphere outside their front door, people in Afghanistan are resilient.
We were invited to spend a day with a local Afghan family, get to know them, their way of life, and share it with you.
