During the 2013 Austin City Limits Music Festival, Austin band The Preservation performed an intimate set at the American Legion for a special version of the Shiner Sessions presented by Do512. Since the release of their newest EP, "Friends" recorded at Danny Reisch's (Bright Light Social Hour, The Lemurs, Shearwater) East Austin studio, the band has shared the stage with Black Joe Lewis, White Denim, and Shakey Graves.
