The Rising Cost of Cars 🚗

So it’s been about year since I’ve discussed the Car market in it’s entirety, so let’s check on how it’s doing. (Show burning Fire). Yep…That looks about right.
I am sorry to disappoint, but Car Prices aren’t dropping any time soon, not substantially at least. We got a brief glimpse of Hopium at the start of 2025, only to have Tariffs crush them into oblivion and a year later, we’re still just coasting on those same waves.
New Car Prices remain at an all time high of $50K, with stable prices month after month showing no signs of falling significantly any time soon. So just buy used right? Except not really, since even USED CARS are averaging between $24K-$26K
That’s the Average Price by the way. I still have to explain to some of my Gen X and Boomer CO-workers, that you can’t find a $500 Crown Victoria or $1000 Ford Ranger from their Neighbor’s lawn anymore in most places in America.
Hell, Gen Z is lucky if they can even get a MOVING CAR for $3000 these days, as even $5000 buys 30 year old cars with 300K mileage. Check out my Facebook Marketplace Video after this one, where even with a budget of $5K-$10K, we were struggling to see anything under 200K mileage.
