Spaced Repetition takes advantage of the Spacing Effects that was first introduced by Hermann Ebbinghauss, who described the forgetting curve as the gradual decay of information and memory in our brains once we learn something. This is one of the most powerful revision tips and is often used in combination with Active Recall.
