Well imagine you’re in a German WW2 prison camp. You think it can’t get any worse when one day a man shows up demanding labourers for a special project. The German guards look apprehensive but oblige. Suddenly you’re shackled, and stuck into the back of a truck along with dozens of others.

The trucks then head off but a short time later they suddenly stop and you’re told to get out. There’s nothing around, you’re sure you're going to be executed. But that’s when the man tells you to run, he’s set you free. You’re obviously happy and escape but what's going on?
