The Lost Queen Review: A Captivating Female-Led Historical Fantasy ⭐️

I am always down to read a first person, single point of view fantasy with a female main character, so stumbling upon this gem, it was a no brainer that I would give it a try.

The authors writing style was interesting to me as generally I do not like poetic feeling prose, nor do I like slower paced books, however, Signe Pike pulled off this story with her writing style in such a refreshing way. Although it was not a speedy read for me, there was always something happening. The character development in the story was quite good, and although there wasn’t a strong magic system, there was plenty of Celtic lore woven into the story.

This was a solid 4 star read and I look forward to finishing the series. I will also add that I immersion read this book and the narrator was an amazing voice actress and really breathed life into the characters. The reading experience on this one was great!
