Alastor's Microphone Cane in Hazbin Hotel 🎤

One of alastor’s most recognisable traits is his signature microphone cane. He carries it around at all times, and it’s actually sentient. It’s like sir pentious’s hat where it mimics the emotions of it’s owner, and can even talk as we see briefly in the pilot.

So what is the lore behind this item? Well the lore is a little vague. It seems that alot of characters have signature items they can just spawn into existence, like charlie’s trident, valentino’s pipe and sir pentious’s hat. Sir pentious’s hat even receives a makeover and comes with him once he enters heaven.

During episode 7 and 8 we see alastor give his mic to charlie. Not only does this help encourage charlie, it also shows the level of respect he has for her by lending her his main tool. It’s one of the few times he doesn’t carry his cane and it’s incredibly sweet.

Unfortunately alastor’s mic gets destroyed during the fight with adam, and we don’t see him wield it in the finale song. So there’s a chance it’s gone for good, or he’ll repair it in season 2. Personally i think he’ll build a new mic, though perhaps he’ll make it stronger than the last one.
