This high-energy Toronto-based foursome combines years of dedicated musical experience to create a melting pot of borderless, genre-crossing tunes. The band is continually pushing musical boundaries, with hook-laden party-tunes (This Town, Call The Paparazzi), dance-floor anthems (Four On The Floor), and straight-up rock'n'roll (Rough Sex and Cigarettes, Sucker For a Redhead). This is a band with a pop-sensibility that has secured their spot in the mainstream, while their intricacies and musicianship invite even the most discerning critics. The Little Black Dress can truly be described as having mass-appeal.<br /><br />The Little Black Dress has played countless sold-out shows in and around Toronto. Most recently, sold out venues have included the El Mocambo (Toronto), the Bread and Circus (Toronto), Frank & Stein's (Guelph), and several sold out shows at the Rivoli (Toronto), including an exhilarating set opening for Wide Mouth Mason.<br /><br />The Little Black Dress has just finished up in the studio with renowned Toronto producer Murray Daigle (Wide Mouth Mason, Mugshot), and have just released their first radio-ready single, "Call The Paparazzi" on iTunes, Amazon, MySpace, Grooveshark, and the like. Listen for Call The Paparazzi on college radio in the upcoming months.<br /><br />The band is currently recording several new singles, working towards a full-length LP, at Q Music in Toronto.
