The Game Awards went from having a small reputation problem to being turned into a celebration of mediocrity, extravagance and advertisements. All controlled by biased media sources.

The focus of trying to appeal to gamers and celebrate the best we truly have is laughably replaced with a handful of mainstream publisher picks from out of touch panels of judges & juries.

It's not hopeless, but it needs reform, because as it is... It's a big club. And you ain't in it.
