Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping finance faster than any technology in history. At Beyond the Black in Las Vegas in September 2025, I delivered a keynote on how AI in finance is transforming FP&A, accounting automation, forecasting, and decision-making. From ChatGPT to advanced AI agents, finance professionals must understand how to harness AI to unlock growth and futureproof their organizations.

For over two decades, I’ve advised Fortune 500 brands on the future of consumers—from Millennials (the internet generation), to Gen Z (the iPhone generation). Now comes Generation Alpha, the first cohort to grow up with AI from birth. But this isn’t about tomorrow—it’s about how finance leaders can use generative AI today to turn financial data into strategy, automate repetitive processes, and gain foresight into risk and opportunity.

I shared my personal journey into AI—starting with building my own healthbot powered by 25 years of medical records—and how that same principle applies to finance.
