Based upon the novel "The Last Trap" by Sinclair Gluck. Great little "B" murder mystery. Suspects abound when Henry Carson ( Mong ) is murdered, including niece Elsa ( Ware ), Uncle Charles ( Bosworth ), Elsa's fiance Jim Landis ( Walker ) Mrs. Tallman ( Hopper ) and his butler, Foot ( Clive ). In the search for the killer it is discovered Uncle Charles and Foot have been under surveillance by retired Detective Bernard ( Churchill ). Though Elsa is being framed, another is guilty. Yes, Mrs. Tallman is played by Hollywood gossip columnist Hedda Hopper!
