Sonic.exe started as a teenage edgelord's breakthrough contribution to the Creepypasta story movement in the early 2010s, but it quickly grew into something he never could have imagined, with fan-game adaptations, countless spin-offs, and other artwork dedicated to his obscene but cliche story.

But the twisted re-imagining of Sega's fast-footed mascot soon gave in to the weight of its own popularity, producing scandals, controversy and horror. This is the story of Sonic.exe.
