The Bill to Protect Gun Owners, That Won't Protect Gun Owners

There is probably no Federal gun law that gets violated on a daily basis more than the Firearms Owners Protection Act. Despite its very clear prohibitions on the creation of gun registries, multiple states violate this law on a daily basis. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a new Senate Bill that is supposed to stop this, but the language of the bill will do little, if anything, to bring relief to gun owners nationwide. While the law would, again, state that no gun registry can be created, it only prohibits conduct of this nature from the Federal Government and once again, remains quiet about the biggest perpertrators of these violations, the many states hellbent on disarming their citizens.
