The Bible (2013) S01E03: Jericho, Delilah's Betrayal & David's Anointing 🏺

⁣Joshua defeats the city of Jericho, while Delilah betrays Samson during the conflict between the Israelites and the Philistines. Samuel anoints David as king, a decision that risks plunging the nation into civil war. Saul becomes increasingly jealous when David triumphs over Goliath. Under King David's reign, Israel experiences a period of prosperity, but his desire for power and lust for Bathsheba lead him astray. Despite his transgressions, God forgives David, and his son Solomon goes on to construct the temple of God in Jerusalem.
