In the first season of the New Zealand version of this worldwide success, ambitious, handsome and down-to-earth Arthur Green, 26, embarks on the ultimate romantic adventure. Arthur studied sport science in Dunedin before moving to remote Western Australia to manage a gym. Finding that clients were constantly coming to him for nutrition advice, Arthur cofounded Clean Paleo Ltd, a paleo diet company that is poised to go international. With his intense schedule, he has been too busy to find love -- but he is ready to change that. His ideal woman is funny, active and intellectual, with a good job and her own ambition and drive.

As several lovely bachelorettes put their hearts on the line in group and one-on-one dates with Arthur, drama, romance and sizzling chemistry lead up to each episode's rose ceremony, during which the Bachelor presents a single red rose to the bachelorettes whom he would like to know better, sending home the others. In the final weeks, Arthur travels to the hometowns of the remaining bachelorettes to meet their family and friends, and the lucky last few ladies are introduced to his loved ones. As the series reaches its climax, the final two bachelorettes join New Zealander Arthur on an exciting adventure before he decides which bachelorette has won his heart!
