th1ng's Sylvain Chomet was personally invited by The Simpson's creator Matt Groening to create a couch gag for the iconic series. th1ng and Chomet were both honoured and excited to receive the invitation, after all, it's not everyday one is asked to re-imagine The Simpsons.

th1ng's Executive Producer Dominic Buttimore, worked alongside Chomet to create the distinctly French-themed couch gag. The sequence was met with lots of laughter by Groening and longtime show-runner/producer Al Jean, who called the experience "a dream come true."
