Terra Surpasses Ethereum Amid Market Turmoil 🚀

As the cryptocurrency market struggles, more and more currencies have flipped tokens like Ethereum. While Ethereum is extremely popular, trades around $3000, and is the backbone of the exploding NFT industry, it is not without its vulnerabilities. It appears that Terra has flipped Ethereum to become the second-most staked cryptocurrency among the major tokens. Solana is the most-staked cryptocurrency out there, with nearly $40 billion worth of SOL being staked directly. Ethereum is sitting in 3rd at just over $28 billion, and Terra now sits firmly in 2nd place with just over $30 billion staked directly in several platforms. Because staking is a simple way to earn passive income, every token that overcomes Ethereum is going to assume a much bigger role in the market overall. Plus, Terra has grown more than 64% over the past 7 days, making it the hottest cryptocurrency out there today. However, it is still below its all-time high that was reached in December of last year. At press time, Terra was trading at just over $93 on a rising market cap and a drop in volume.
