More than 160 people were killed in a Nigerian village last month in an attack on farming communities blamed on armed herders in the breadbasket region of the country. Tensions between farmers and herders have led to a major security threat in Nigeria. Survivors describe a gruesome scene where people were burned alive in their homes and women and children were attacked with machetes.
