पूरी दुनिया (World)के लोग जब टेलिफोन पर बात (Telephonic Conversation) करते हैं तब उनका पहला शब्द (First Word) हैलो (Hello) होता है. फोन (Phone) पर बात करते हुए सबसे पहले हैलो ही क्यों (Why we do say Hello)कहते हैं. इसकी एक बड़ी ही रोचक कहानी (Interesting Story) है. ग्राहम बेल (Graham Bell) ने जब टेलिफोन (Telephone)का अविष्कार (Innovation) किया था. तब उन्होंने अहॉय (Ahoy) शब्द का इस्तेमाल किया था. यानी टेलिफोन के अविष्कार के बाद सबसे पहला शब्द अहॉय बोला गया था. लेकिन आगे चलकर थॉमस एडिसन (Thomas Edison) ने इसे हैलो कर दिया था. जो आज भी पूरी दुनिया में बोली जाती है. टेलिफोन पर अहॉय से लेकर हैलो बोलने तक की कहानी काफी रोचक है.
