About this video
In this video, I use the Tascam Portastudio 424 MKII to create a cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" using a combination of the Digitakt, Critter and Guitari Bolsa Bass, Juno 60 synthesizer, and a Rhodes Stage Mark I 73-Key Electric Piano.
The Tascam 424 MKII is a classic four-track cassette recorder that became a staple in home recording during the '90s. Known for its rugged design and user-friendly interface, it features expanded I/O options, including XLR mic inputs, a sweepable 3-band EQ, and advanced transport functions like auto-punch, loop rehearsal, and an electronic counter. Its lo-fi charm makes it an excellent machine for recording analog cassette-based music.
