Tascam 414 & Mk II: Tear Down Comparison

I already published two videos disassembling a Tascam Portastudio 414 Mk II (the blue one). In this video I gloss over many aspects of the tear down to focus on the minor differences between the generations of 414 - if you need a more detailed guide to taking apart your OG 414, you will find most of the information you need in my 414 Mk II videos (links below)

Apart from the grey plastic case, the 414 is very similar to the Mark two. Really the only difference in the Mk 2 is the addition of a daughter-board with one balanced XLR input and a 1/4" jack input and preamp with the impedance matched to an electric guitar or bass - there are some minor additions to the mixer board to accommodate this, and the shielding is slightly different as a result.
