While those computers are still several years away, "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks put all data not proected using quantum-safe security at risk. So what can we do now to protect our applications? In this ⚡ Lightning Talk, Paul will demo how to deploy a quantum-safe application on Kubernetes. He'll provide a brief overview of quantum-safe cryptography and why it's needed, highlight key work being done in the open source community to migrate to quantum-safe cryptography, and conclude with a demo of how to build a quantum-safe cloud-native application. At the conclusion of this session, listeners will have a set of practical steps they can take to help secure their applications in a post-quantum world.
