Syria has warned the United Nations that a European draft resolution condemning the country for its deadly crackdown on anti-government protesters would only embolden "extremists and terrorists".<br /><br />Meanwhile, in the latest attack on the already battered country, hectares of crops were torched and livestock killed as opposition sides blamed one another for the devastation.
