Surveillance footage shows how the Louvre heist unfolded

Surveillance footage aired by French broadcasters shows how a major jewellery heist unfolded inside Paris’s Louvre Museum on 19 October. Two suspects are seen smashing display cases with a grinder and their fists, while security guards appeared hesitant to intervene.

Nine pieces of jewellery worth €88 million were stolen within minutes. All four suspects were arrested days later, but the stolen items were not recovered.
