Turbulent times just before independence. Anadi Halder gets mysteriously murdered on a Kalipujo night against this backdrop. Truth seeker Byomkesh Baksi gets dragged into this murder mystery. Slowly he realises the roots of this crime run deeper than he imagined. Basic human instincts get entangled with the restless times. WIll Byomkesh be able to salvage the truth?
