Strange Illusion (1945) - A Haunting Film Noir 🎥

Clean-cut American teen Paul Cartwright (James Lydon) has recurring dreams of his mother, Virginia (Sally Eilers), falling for a dangerous man. As the dreams grow more vivid, Paul enlists the help of his psychiatrist, Dr. Vincent (Regis Toomey), and discovers that his mother's' suitor; Brett Curtis (Warren William) is a violent psychopath living under the care of the shady Professor Muhlbach (Charles Arnt) at a sanitarium. When Curtis tries to marry his mother, Paul races to stop him and uncovers the terrifying truth behind his visions.
