Our next guest — Anvita Dutt

On Episode 5 of Fursat Mein Serious Baatein Season 2, we have the phenomenal lyricist, dialogue writer, screenwriter and director Anvita Dutt in conversation with film critic Sucharita.

Anvita, who made her directorial debut with Bulbbul, speaks passionately about the relevance of women telling women's stories, the loving friendships she has fostered in the industry and her expansive body of work, including the horror-fantasy genre.

"I have been called a chudail all the time... You run too fast in the corridor, you are a chudail. Your hair is a mess, so you are a chudail...," Anvita makes an important observation about gender norms, talking about her fascination with chudails (witches) and reclaiming the tag through her work.
