This weekend, a cold front is expected to move into the southern regions, bringing with it a range of weather changes. Residents can anticipate showers and a significant drop in temperatures, particularly in areas of the Free State Province, Eastern Cape Province, and KwaZulu-Natal Province, where thunderstorms are also likely to occur. These storms may vary in intensity, potentially leading to localized heavy rainfall and strong winds. In contrast, the northeastern parts of the country will experience a dry spell, characterized by hot to very hot conditions throughout the weekend. It will remain sunny and clear, with little relief from the heat. However, this dry weather pattern is expected to shift early next week, as showers and thunderstorms are forecasted to develop in that region by tomorrow. Prepare accordingly for the varying weather conditions across the different provinces!
