Sona and Chandi are a simple, honest married couple from a rural village in Punjab. They move to the city (Lahore) in order to find work so that they can repay a debt they owe back home. Once in the city, they take on various jobs as domestic helpers (in different households) and through their pure heart, sincerity, and rural‑born wisdom, they help the families they work for in resolving personal/social problems.
